I have been known to resemble Kate in looks and even voice, however any grammatical or spelling crimes that I may commit along with my lack of writing flare are clear displays that this is not Kate. (Everyone groan at once...I know.) Much to your disappointment, yes, this is Kristin.
I got an email from Kate this morning, and she is doing wonderfully. However, a great deal of traveling, electricity problems and lack of internet usage has kept her from entering new posts. I was the lucky delegate she asked to log on and give you a brief up-date to tide you over for another week or so until she is able to add a few more herself. When that time comes, I'm sure you will be rewarded with SEVERAL novels.
The email I received wasn't long, but here are a few excerpts I thought you might enjoy. The first will probably evoke a sigh of relief...shes' experiencing wonderful things as well as a few challenges. :) And the second should make you chuckle.
Kate Westby said...
"...the week and a half at the school (in Arusha) was awesome and I loved it and was very successful... we're having internet technical difficulties and I"ll write about it later..."
"I saw both the biggest monkey (like the size of a german shepherd) and the smallest monkey (baby kitty size with a softball sized head - it was hilariously disproportionate!) of my life yesterday." :)
To make sure this post wasn't a complete let-down, I decided to add a picture because I know how everyone LOVES pictures. Isn't she beautiful?
I hope you are all doing well. Make sure to check back in a about a week for the "real deal."
~Kristin
